DSF2™

The U.S. Postal Service’s DSF2™ product provides valuable information about the addresses on your file. DSF2™ processing begins with the DPV™ service described above. Addresses that match to the DPV™ file are identified as being complete and correct. Addresses that can’t be matched to DPV™ are either incomplete or incorrect, and so are potentially undeliverable.

Records that match the DPV™ file can then be processed through the DSF2™ product, which differentiates residential and business addresses; identifies addresses that have been vacant for 90 days; and locates seasonal/educational addresses and commercial mail receiving agencies. The DSF2™ product also supplies the walk-sequence numbers that will be needed to qualify for High Density and Saturation postage rates.
